Your Responsibilities
- Prepare zebrafish larval samples using Technovit, and perform plastic sectioning and histological staining for morphological analysis.
- Conduct cryo-sectioning using a rotary microtome and perform immunofluorescence analysis.
- Support general lab operations, including DNA analysis (genotyping) and, eventually, Western blotting.
Your Profile
- Completed education as a laboratory technician (EFZ Laborant:in) in biology or an equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience working in a research laboratory.
- Ability to execute protocols independently and efficiently.
- Capacity to perform repetitive tasks.
- Experience with plastic sectioning, cryo-sectioning, and immunostaining is an advantage.
- Precise, well-organized, and proactive.
- Excellent knowledge of English and strong communication skills.
