Laboratory Technician
50%-60%, Zurich, Fixed-Term
The Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics is a biology research group based at the University of Zurich (UZH) and ETH Zurich. We conduct fundamental research to explore how childhood experiences can modify the brain and body, and the subsequent impacts on physiology, behavior, and health. Our focus includes adverse conditions such as traumatic stress and poor diet, investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms that link these factors to diseases in affected individuals and their descendants. Our laboratory employs mouse and cellular models and utilizes various experimental approaches, including cloning, cell culture, cell imaging, behavioral testing, and bioinformatics. Comprising researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students, and technical staff, our team collaborates closely on several complementary research projects and also provides teaching support to undergraduate students from UZH and ETH Zurich.
