Laborant Opportunity
Location: Zurich, 50%-60%, Fixed-term
The Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics is a biology research group at the University of Zurich (UZH) and ETH Zurich. Our team conducts fundamental research exploring how childhood experiences can modify the brain and body, and the subsequent implications for physiology, behavior, and health. Our focus is on adverse conditions such as traumatic stress and poor diet, investigating the cellular and molecular mechanisms that link these conditions to diseases in affected individuals and their descendants. We utilize mouse and cellular models, applying a diverse range of experimental approaches including cloning, cell culture, cell imaging, behavioral testing, and bioinformatics. Our lab comprises researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students, and technical staff collaborating on several complementary research projects. Additionally, we provide instruction to undergraduate students from UZH and ETH Zurich.
