Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Technician

ETH Zurich - March 16, 2026

Laborant

50%-60%, Zurich, fixed-term

The Laboratory of Neuroepigenetics is a research group affiliated with the University of Zurich (UZH) and ETH Zurich. Our work delves into fundamental research that explores how childhood experiences can modify both brain and body, and the subsequent implications for physiology, behavior, and health. With a focus on adverse conditions such as traumatic stress and poor diet, we investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms linking these conditions to diseases affecting both individuals and their descendants. Utilizing mouse and cellular models, we employ a variety of experimental techniques, including cloning, cell culture, cell imaging, behavioral testing, and bioinformatics. Our team comprises researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students, and technical staff, all collaborating on several complementary research projects. Additionally, we provide educational opportunities for undergraduate students from UZH and ETH Zurich.
