Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to our research efforts, including:
- Maintaining and amplifying mammalian cell lines, as well as conducting banking, quality control, and characterization of multiple cell lines.
- Isolating and culturing primary human cells, including but not limited to PBMCs, NK cells, and T cells.
- Performing and analyzing immuno-oncology in vitro assays for the characterization of novel biological candidates, including:
- Primary human cell-based assays
- Multicolor flow cytometry
- Multiplex cytokine profiling
- Analyzing experimental data using appropriate software (e.g., FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Excel, JMP) and documenting results in laboratory notebooks in a timely manner.
- Writing detailed protocols and contributing to internal documentation in adherence to company standards.
- Presenting experimental results in English during regular team meetings.
- Contributing to general laboratory maintenance, including equipment upkeep, reagent preparation, and ordering of supplies.
- Complying with all safety and HSE guidelines.
- Performing other relevant responsibilities as required to support project and departmental goals.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- A technical degree in immunology, oncology, cellular biology, or a related life sciences field.
- Hands-on expertise with primary cell culture, flow cytometry (mandatory), and cytokine analyses.
- Experience working in BSL-2 facilities and isolating immune cells from human biological samples (e.g., PBMCs).
- Proficiency in multicolor flow cytometry data analysis using FlowJo or equivalent software.
- A strong understanding of immunological principles and cell-based assay development.
- Prior experience in oncology, antibody discovery, or drug development within an industrial or translational research environment is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
