Job Opportunity: R&D Laboratory Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated R&D Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team!

Role Purpose

• Conduct laboratory formulation work.
• Perform laboratory tasks under supervision using appropriate equipment.
• Engage in standard work that consists of interrelated steps and processes.
• Gain valuable work experience while expanding your professional knowledge.
• This position is ideal for individuals seeking their first role after completing their apprenticeship as a laboratory assistant.

Accountabilities

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality of work-relevant equipment and the laboratory environment.
• Conduct physical-chemical tests following established test methods.
• Follow procedures accurately and effectively.
• Formulate simple formulation types (e.g., EC, SC).
• Execute experimental work programs; non-standard work may only be conducted under supervision.
• Document experiments and test results for subsequent evaluation by the line manager.

Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities

• Vocational training (qualification as a chemical laboratory technician or similar, preferably in the field of galenics, e.g., Laborant Fachrichtung Galenik mit EFZ).
• Proficiency in German (preferably level B2).
• Basic knowledge of English (preferably level A2).
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with LIMS and ELN is an advantage.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
