The Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Bern is looking for you!
What You Can Expect
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform biological and molecular biology experiments including cell culture, RNA/DNA/protein analyses, PCR, Western blot, sequencing, and flow cytometry.
- Conduct animal experiments encompassing experimentation, care, handling, and documentation.
- Manage laboratory orders, inventory, and financial routines.
- Support experiment planning and collaborate closely with scientists.
- Ensure laboratory organization and adhere to quality and safety standards.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- Completed training as a laboratory technician in biology or an equivalent qualification.
- Solid knowledge of biological and molecular biology techniques.
- Experience in animal work (LTK, FELASA, or equivalent).
- Strong organizational skills, along with experience in ordering and finances.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Proficiency in both German and English (spoken and written).
