IBR Inc. - Job Opportunity: Part-Time Lab Operations Assistant
IBR Inc. is a Swiss boutique Contract Research Organization (CRO) renowned for operating GxP-compliant bioanalytical laboratories and supporting international biopharmaceutical clients from early discovery through clinical development.
Your Role
As a crucial member of our team, you will ensure that laboratory infrastructure, samples, equipment, and documentation are managed efficiently and in adherence to regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with laboratory scientists, Quality Assurance (QA), and management to support our operations.
Your Responsibilities

Sample and Reagent Management
- Receipt, labeling, registration, and documentation of samples and reagents
- Accurate management of sample and reagent inventories
- Preparation and shipment of samples in accordance with applicable regulations and protocols

Laboratory Supplies and Inventory
- Monitoring stock levels of consumables and reagents
- Ordering and tracking supplies to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations

Laboratory Equipment and Infrastructure
- Coordination and documentation of routine maintenance, calibration, and servicing
- Maintenance of complete and audit-ready equipment records
- Writing, updating, and reviewing equipment-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Documentation and Compliance
- GxP-compliant documentation of all activities (GLP, GCP, GMP as applicable)
- Maintenance of organized logs and records to support audits and inspections
Your Profile
- Education in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (such as apprenticeship, associate, or bachelor’s degree)
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and reliability
- Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and laboratory equipment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with scientists and QA
- Prior experience in a regulated laboratory environment (GLP, GCP, GMP) is highly desirable
- Fluent in German (written and spoken)
- Good English communication skills (written and spoken)
