About Us

Our award-winning ecologically designed campus is located in the heart of the Rheintal, in Buchs. As a 'small and mighty' not-for-profit international day school, we provide a supportive atmosphere within a thriving community of 200 students and over 50 staff members. We are an International Baccalaureate World School offering a comprehensive international education in English for ages 3-19. In 2020, we were ranked 9th in Switzerland for our IBDP results and among the top 50 in Europe. We are seeking to recruit a dedicated and impactful full-time Kindergarten / Early Years Teacher to join our International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) learning community. The successful candidate will become part of our diverse team of experienced international school teachers in our age 3-19 establishment.

Candidates should bring a rigorous and inclusive approach to teaching and learning within the primary years, with a specific interest in continuous provision and developing impactful Early Years teaching. A strong background in language instruction for both English home language and English language learners, as well as a commitment to an inquiry-led approach, is essential. You will bring learning to life in and beyond the classroom.

We seek educators who have experience or align pedagogically with the IB approach. We desire teachers with a professional commitment to a student-initiated, inquiry-led method of teaching and learning.

We are seeking teachers who:

• Are a qualified primary years teacher with a minimum of three years of teaching experience and, at least, a bachelor's degree
• Possess significant experience and expertise in teaching in the primary phase, including a specialization in Early Years
• Are willing to go the extra mile to design and deliver engaging learning experiences
• Promote a well-organized, inspiring, and inquiry-led learning environment
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive, empathetic approach to students, colleagues, and the wider community
• Are internationally minded and committed to the IB philosophy and approach
• Are comfortable integrating technology into teaching and learning for improved student outcomes
• Are committed to continual improvement
• Engage with and contribute to the full life of the school
