Job Opportunity: Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager, your primary focus will be on Food and Beverage accounts in Switzerland and Israel.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional who possesses a deep understanding of new product development within the industry.
This position is based in Kemptthal, Switzerland, and will report directly to the Commercial Director for Switzerland and Israel.
Your Responsibilities:
- Grow Givaudan's business with designated accounts by managing both top and bottom lines.
- Take the lead on all Givaudan activities for assigned accounts.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as the preferred supplier.
- Develop, communicate, and implement strategic Account Development Plans (ADPs), sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, with clear KPIs.
- Manage brief pipeline to ensure quality and quantity of projects to achieve growth targets.
- Defend existing business in key markets and with essential customers.
- Negotiate pricing agreements within set guidelines and manage aspects such as credit, pricing, and rebates for key accounts.
Your Professional Profile:
- BSc/MSc in a business degree (technical or commercial).
- 4 or more years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer relationship management within the food or related industry.
- Business fluency in English is a must; proficiency in German and Hebrew is an advantage.
- Expertise in applying strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills to develop ADPs.
- Understanding of customer strategies, programs, priorities, and launch processes, as well as how to effectively position offerings.
- Expertise in all account management steps in the brief handling process.
- A proven track record of generating new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
- A passion for communication, negotiation, and building solid networks at multiple levels.
- Strategic and commercial insight, along with the courage to take calculated risks for achieving growth.
