Job Title: Key Account Manager

As a Key Account Manager, you will focus on Food and Beverage accounts in Switzerland and Israel. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional, equipped with a strong understanding of new product development within the food and beverage industry.

Your base will be in Kemptthal, Switzerland, where you will report directly to the Commercial Director for Switzerland and Israel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth for Givaudan business with designated accounts by managing both top and bottom lines.
  • Take a lead role in all Givaudan activities related to designated accounts.
  • Nurture customer relationships with key decision-makers, positioning Givaudan as the preferred supplier.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement strategic Account Development Plans (ADPs), sales forecasts, and budgets for key accounts, ensuring clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage the brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to meet growth objectives.
  • Safeguard base business in key markets and with key customers.
  • Negotiate pricing agreements within established guidelines and manage credit, pricing, and rebates for key accounts.

Professional Profile

  • BSc/MSc in a business-related field (technical or commercial).
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer relationship management within the food or related industry.
  • Business fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German and Hebrew is an advantage.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to develop effective ADPs.
  • Understanding of customer strategy, programs, priorities, launch processes, and how to position offerings effectively.
  • Proficiency in managing all aspects of account management within the brief handling process.
  • Skill in generating new business by identifying unmet customer needs.
  • A passion for communication, negotiation, and building networks at multiple levels.
  • Possess strategic and commercial insight, with the courage to take calculated risks to achieve growth.
