Your Mission
- International sales of chemical raw materials for the surfactant distribution markets.
- Driving the daily commercial business of our distribution partners.
- Supporting the development of the company's distribution strategy.
- Responsible for volume, turnover, and contribution margin for allocated customers.
- Cultivating and developing long-term customer/distributor relations while acquiring new customers in the DACH, Benelux, Eastern Europe, and Nordics regions.
- Providing intensive application-related consulting and support to existing and new customers in close cooperation with Product Management, Marketing, and Research & Development.
- Developing new areas of application and introducing new products and technical solutions.
- Ensuring sustainable, profitable growth in the corresponding markets through collaboration in the development and implementation of operational measures and projects with relevant internal departments.
- Market and competitor observation and market potential analyses, developing authoritative short and mid-term business development plans.
- Drawing up bids and pricing in accordance with internal specifications.
- Maintaining margins while simultaneously increasing sales volume.
- Handling complaints in close cooperation with relevant internal departments.
- Attending seminars, conventions, and trade fairs, including booth supervision.
- Participating in projects and process teams.
- Representing the company in expert committees, institutes, and associations as required.
Your Profile
- Degree in Chemistry (FH/Uni).
- Solid experience in sales towards distributors or related customer-focused roles in the surfactants sector across various markets (e.g., Industrial and Institutional Cleaning, among other technical applications).
- Ability to define business processes and manage distributors effectively across diverse regions.
- An established customer base and distribution network in the DACH region and Benelux; experience in other European territories is appreciated.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Adept at establishing a Business Case and developing various pricing models.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a confident demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and high team competencies for optimal results in collaboration with internal departments.
- Connected thinking with the ability to grasp complex information and communicate concisely.
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in German and/or Dutch is a plus.
- Willingness to travel 40% to 60%, primarily within Europe.
