Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (KAM) for Wholesales to drive sales and business development for a selection of our wholesale retail partners across Switzerland, encompassing both online and brick-and-mortar channels. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and expanding key accounts, developing robust customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance revenue and market share for the Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) brand portfolio. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Digital, Marketing, and Operations, to build and execute strategic plans that deliver measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale retailers in Switzerland at all levels.
  • Lead promotional activities and product launches to drive omnichannel growth and enhance brand visibility.
  • Own the P&L for your accounts, setting and executing strategic plans to meet sales and profit targets.
  • Negotiate annual business plans in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams.
  • Work closely with internal departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of account strategies.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with retail partners to evaluate performance and drive improvements.
  • Ensure excellent execution on the digital shelf, including availability, content, visibility, and customer engagement metrics.
  • Act as the main contact point for all sales-related topics and provide insights through reporting and analysis.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify new opportunities and maintain a strong competitive edge in the Swiss beauty market.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a multinational environment. Experience in FMCG is preferred.
  • Knowledge of E-Commerce is an advantage.
  • Degree in Business Administration or a related field (Commercial/Economics).
  • Fluent in German and English; French language skills are an asset.
  • Strong understanding of the local Swiss market.
  • Excellent analytical, operative, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and SAP.
  • Willingness to travel (10-20% within Switzerland).
