Key Account Manager Position
The Key Account Management Team plays a vital role in maximizing field force effectiveness and ensuring best-in-class execution of sales and marketing initiatives. The Key Account Manager (KAM) will serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned key accounts, responsible for achieving defined commercial targets and ensuring optimal return on investment through the negotiation, implementation, and evaluation of agreements.
Responsibilities
As the Key Account Manager, you will:
- Create comprehensive customer plans to drive business growth, aligned with JTI's strategic priorities, including investment scenarios and assortment planning in collaboration with Marketing.
- Effectively execute agreed account strategies and initiatives by leading key account negotiations, managing the full contracting process, and ensuring timely communication with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of each assigned account, ensuring alignment with contractual agreements and delivery of commercial targets.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key accounts and their decision-makers, ensuring consistent communication and high-quality business support.
- Work closely within cross-functional teams, including Finance, Marketing, Legal, and the Supply Chain department, to support category development and joint business planning.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Solid experience in sales, marketing, or trade marketing within an international FMCG company, including Category and Key Account Management.
- Fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is considered an asset.
- Strong selling and negotiation skills, with an understanding of retailer finance.
- Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and SAP.
