Position: Key Account Manager

Are you ready to help shape our new Key Account Management function and foster enduring partnerships with our most significant customers? As our first Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing processes, building strong customer relationships, and laying the groundwork for our future growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build & Establish Key Account Management: Develop best practices, methodologies, and processes for our newly created function, ensuring sustainable implementation across the organization.
  • Own & Grow Strategic Accounts: Drive revenue growth and nurture long-term partnerships through a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.
  • Shape Strategic Account Plans: Develop and execute customized strategies to maximize profitability and foster long-term collaboration.
  • Expand Opportunities: Identify and secure upsell, cross-sell, and new expansion opportunities across both short- and long-term horizons.
  • Lead Co-Innovation: Initiate and drive co-innovation projects based on trust and customer intimacy.
  • Align Internal Teams: Act as a liaison between accounts and internal stakeholders—such as Application Scientists, Product Managers, and Marketing—to ensure successful execution and delivery.

Your Profile

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Substantial experience and a passion for Key Account Management in high-tech or complex solution environments.
  • Prior experience in building and growing Key Account Management functions is a plus.
  • A strong technical background (e.g., Physics, Electrical Engineering) to facilitate a deep understanding of quantum technologies and our offerings.
  • A strategic mindset paired with hands-on expertise in account planning frameworks (e.g., LAMP) and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical and self-driven, with skills in forecasting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
