About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Wheat Trader to join our international trading team. In this role, you will actively engage with the wheat markets across the EU and Black Sea regions, identifying opportunities, executing trades, and managing positions within defined limits. This position places you at the heart of market dynamics—balancing supply and demand, navigating price volatility, and driving trading performance.

This is a hands-on role with real exposure to P&L, where you will collaborate closely with experienced traders, logistics, and risk teams while building your own market insights and network.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute and develop wheat trading strategies in international markets.
  • Identify arbitrage opportunities and translate them into profitable trades.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers, brokers, and counterparties.
  • Analyze market dynamics, including supply, demand, pricing, and risk factors.
  • Manage positions and contribute to hedging strategies (futures & cash).
  • Monitor and coordinate shipment flows closely with logistics.
  • Stay abreast of market developments and share actionable insights.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in commodity trading, preferably in wheat.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural markets and trading fundamentals.
  • Experience with risk management and hedging instruments is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with EU & Black Sea trading flows and logistics routes is a significant asset.
  • Sharp commercial instincts and confidence in decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
