How You Can Make an Impact

As a Junior Swiss Global Mobility Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Swiss Global Mobility Team within our People & Purpose (HR) Enabling Function. You will be responsible for supporting and processing our in- and outbound cross-border client project worker population, focusing on all compliance aspects related to Immigration, Taxes, and Social Security. In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the cross-border client project staffing process among client project teams, worldwide employees, and their mobility teams, along with our internal compliance service providers (GES, Global Employer Services).
  • Managing the time-sensitive document gathering, data input, and tracking for foreign Deloitte member firm employees staffed onto client projects in Switzerland, as well as domestic employees working abroad.
  • Initiating internal compliance services via our Mobility Management tool (Assignment Pro) and coordinating ad hoc reports.
  • Overseeing the team mailbox and being the first point of contact for all incoming Swiss Mobility inquiries, ensuring a highly customer-oriented approach to our processes.
  • Assisting senior Swiss Global Mobility business partners in advising client project teams on the overall cross-border client project staffing process and on all compliance requirements in collaboration with our internal GES specialists.

Who We Are Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • A commercial degree or comparable education with at least 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in Global Mobility and/or HR (e.g., HR assistant or Certified Advance Studies - CAS).
  • The ability to work accurately and prioritize your workload while maintaining attention to detail and managing tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Thrive in both a dynamic team setting and independently within a high-demanding work atmosphere.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential; fluency in German is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of Swiss immigration and labor law is advantageous.
  • Exceptional proficiency in IT applications (MS Office environment).
