To strengthen our team, we are seeking a committed and analytically strong individual for the role of Junior Strategist in Education. In this key position, you will help shape strategic initiatives aimed at further developing teaching at ETH Zurich. You will support cross-functional projects, analyze education policy-relevant data, and assist in translating insights into impactful recommendations. Join the Strategy and Analytics Group in the Rectorate and contribute to the long-term quality and innovative strength of ETH Zurich’s teaching.
As a Junior Strategist in Education, you will support data-informed strategic development within the teaching domain at ETH Zurich. Your core focus will involve contributing to project-based and applied research through qualitative and quantitative analyses. This will include structured interviews, surveys, and data exploration to inform strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and future readiness of ETH Zurich’s teaching.
Your responsibilities will encompass preparing briefings, conducting background research, and supporting institutional projects that aim to enhance educational effectiveness and address long-term challenges, such as rising student numbers and resource constraints.
In close collaboration with Senior Strategists and Business/Data Analysts, you will conduct first-round analyses, prepare summaries of stakeholder insights, and help design evaluation instruments that clarify workload, staffing, and infrastructure needs across ETH's diverse teaching formats. You will contribute to various projects such as QdL (Quantification of Teaching Loads), PAKETH (Reform of ETH’s academic calendar and examination system), Digital Campus, and Strategy for Teaching Staff, helping ETH better capture, interpret, and act on evidence about its educational system.
This is a fixed-term position for one year.
