About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dynamic and resourceful Junior Event Coordinator for maternity cover from August 2025 to May 2026 within our Growth team in Zurich. The Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in engaging with our clients in the German-speaking region of Switzerland, planning and executing client events, conferences, workshops, and webcasts. This position ensures that our business standards are met while delivering a differentiating experience for our clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted events expert, supporting our marketing and client-facing teams.
  • Plan and execute client events from start to finish (both in-person and virtual).
  • Lead and coordinate with third parties, including suppliers, internal teams, and clients.
  • Manage events within budget constraints.
  • Draft and coordinate event correspondence and distribution.
  • Manage event registrations and maintain invitee databases, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Proactively provide post-event performance analysis, including improvement actions and recommendations.
  • Offer project support to the Growth team on broader initiatives and campaigns, and participate in cross-functional projects.

You Have/Are:

  • A proven track record of 2-3 years in event marketing/management, preferably in a professional services environment or the hospitality sector.
  • Working knowledge of virtual meeting and event platforms (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize according to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work flexible hours (Monday to Friday).
  • A client-centric mindset with a service and quality-oriented approach.
  • A team player with a positive and solution-oriented attitude.
