Position: Engine Performance Expert

We are seeking an Engine Performance Expert to join our "Engine Technology" team within the Digital division's product management department in Switzerland. In this role, you will focus on developing and applying domain-specific analytics to optimize engine performance. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating advanced tools and software solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing emissions in our customers' fleets.

Your Responsibilities

• Leverage your knowledge in engine performance to support the development of innovative analytics tools and software solutions.
• Develop and maintain analytic models for Tekomar XPERT, including operational assistance related to the production of engine-specific configurations.
• Support engineering efforts in engine tuning, turbocharger matching, thermodynamic simulations, and propose adjustments to the engine control system for Engine Part Load Optimization (EPLO).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders concerning product and consulting offerings.
• Provide second-level customer and troubleshooting support for Tekomar products in service.

Your Background

• Completed degree in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering or similar).
• Solid understanding of internal combustion engines with a willingness to deepen your knowledge.
• Experience in engine technology in an industrial setting or exposure through academic projects or internships.
• Familiarity with developing analytical models, with eagerness to grow in this area.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• Proactive and solution-oriented working style.
• Self-motivated and curious, willing to learn and take on new challenges.
• Team player, able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
• Knowledge of agile product development or a willingness to learn, along with an interest in the marine market.
• Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).
