Join the SDBB Media Department
The SDBB serves as Switzerland's premier service center for vocational education, and career, study, and job counseling. It operates the portals berufsberatung.ch and berufsbildung.ch, prepares examinations for apprenticeship completion, facilitates data exchange in vocational education, and produces media for cantonal career information centers, among other essential functions. As a specialized agency under the EDK, the SDBB is supported by the federal government (SBFI).
Your Role
As a valued member of the Career Content Team, you will contribute to the development of engaging content for the portal berufsberatung.ch and other SDBB products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and adapting content (digital and print) primarily from French and potentially from Italian into German; editing and proofreading materials as needed.
- Tailoring content to suit the requirements of various language regions and target audiences.
- Conducting research to ensure the regular updating and quality of our German-language websites.
- Managing the upload of content to the website.
- Participating in various projects that enhance our offerings.
Your Profile
- You have completed tertiary-level training in editorial work or journalism, or possess a comparable qualification.
- You bring initial professional experience in the editorial field (both digital and print) along with strong editorial and research skills.
- You are familiar with the Swiss education system and are passionate about topics related to education and the job market; experience in career, study, and job counseling is a plus.
- You have knowledge of project management and an affinity for, or experience with, content management systems.
- You are well-organized and demonstrate accuracy, responsibility, and independence in your work.
- You thrive in a team environment.
- You possess a strong command of German and very good skills in French (at least B2); knowledge of Italian is advantageous.
