The Swiss federal government has approved six new National Centres of Competence in Research (NCCRs). These programmes will enhance key strategic research areas in Switzerland. ETH Zurich leads three of the six approved NCCRs, including the NCCR -Genesis-, viewing this as a significant opportunity for education, top-level research, and knowledge transfer to industry and society. The -Genesis- project investigates the origin of life as a gradual transition from inanimate matter to living organisms. It will be managed in close cooperation with the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and will bring together over 100 scientists from various fields, bridging gaps between biology, chemistry, astrophysics, and Earth and planetary sciences.
To strengthen the small project team and support the NCCR Director in their tasks, we are establishing the new role of "Junior Administration & Logistics Assistant." This position will report directly to the NCCR Finance & Administration Manager.
Join us in an inspiring and international research environment.
