We are seeking a talented Java Software Developer to enhance and customize our enterprise platforms, Genedata Biologics® and Genedata Bioprocess®. These highly innovative solutions are utilized by scientists worldwide to develop life-changing therapies for some of the most severe diseases.

Genedata Biologics® and Genedata Bioprocess® serve as the backbone of data capture and analysis workflows for leading Biopharma and Biotech organizations. Our platforms operate both on-premises and in the cloud, seamlessly integrating with a wide range of laboratory instruments and customer IT systems.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and SQL.
• Work closely with scientific application experts to understand and support real-world biopharma workflows.
• Contribute to the evolution of our technology stack by evaluating and introducing new tools and technologies.
• Build infrastructure that automates the implementation of customer requirements.
• Participate in regular technical and scientific seminars to continuously expand your expertise.

Essential Requirements

The essential requirements for this position include:

• A degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or engineering with 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Java.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
