Investor Relations Real Assets – Unified Global Alternatives (Masculine/Feminine)

Your Role

Are you at your best when serving clients and providing specialized knowledge in real assets and private markets? Do you have a proven record of working with clients to deliver alternative investment solutions? We are searching for a motivated individual who can:

• Offer specialized knowledge of UGA's Real Assets products to clients worldwide, with a particular focus on Japanese investors.
• Deliver high-quality investment solutions to institutional and private investors globally, providing expert guidance across all UGA investment verticals for the Japanese market.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by completing RFPs and creating compelling marketing materials, such as pitch decks and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
• Collaborate closely with Investment teams to research and analyze market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor activities to enhance investor communication and solidify the firm's position as a market leader.
• Work alongside Asset Management Client Coverage teams and Global Wealth Management client advisors to support sales and client services efforts.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional client service that upholds the quality standards of SMA and facilitates potential top-up opportunities.

Your Team

You will be a part of a large-scale global asset manager that offers a diverse range of investment capabilities across all major traditional and alternative asset classes—ranging from active to passive investment strategies, including a robust sustainable investing offering. You’ll join the Investor Relations Real Assets team within UBS Asset Management's Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) unit. With over USD 300 billion under management across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Private Credit, UGA stands as a leading global alternatives investor, channeling UBS Wealth and Institutional capital into first-rate alternative investment vehicles.

The Investor Relations Real Assets team is dynamic, committed, and ambitious, focusing on Infrastructure and Real Estate. We serve as a crucial partner to Investment Specialists in securing commitments from new investors and managing relationships with existing ones. Our goal is to be a trusted partner for our investors, client advisors, distribution colleagues, and the entire value chain of Unified Global Alternatives. You will play a key role in bridging product structuring and investment content between Japan teams and relevant global teams, ensuring alignment with local market standards and sensitivities.

Your Expertise

• Significant experience (12-15 years) in institutional investment, private markets specialization, product specialization, or alternative sales roles.
• Deep understanding of the Japanese investor landscape and regulatory environment, with the capacity to serve as a gatekeeper for Japanese SMAs by delivering precise and consistent reporting and performance updates.
• Experience with the investor landscape in Japan, the Japanese alternatives market, and providing services to Japanese clients.
• Ability to comprehend the unique expectations and requirements of Japanese institutional investors, effectively communicating these needs to global teams.
• Advanced technical, product, and market knowledge in real estate and infrastructure investments, as well as in multi-alternative products.
