Investor Relations Real Assets – Unified Global Alternatives (Male / Female)

Your Role

Are you at your best when serving clients and providing specialist real assets and private markets knowledge? Do you possess the ability to collaborate with clients to deliver alternative investment solutions?

We are seeking a talented professional who can:

• Provide specialist knowledge of UGA's Real Assets products to clients worldwide, particularly Japanese investors.
• Deliver high-quality investment solutions to institutional and private investors globally, with a focus on guiding the Japanese market across all UGA investment verticals.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by completing RFPs and creating compelling marketing materials, including pitch decks and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
• Work closely with investment teams to conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor activity to enhance investor communication and position the firm as a market leader.
• Collaborate with Asset Management Client Coverage teams and Global Wealth Management client advisors to support sales and client services efforts.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional client service that maintains the high standards of SMA and facilitates potential top-up opportunities.

Your Team

You will be part of a large-scale global asset manager that offers investment capabilities and styles across all major traditional and alternative asset classes, from active to passive, including a comprehensive sustainable investing offering. You'll join the Investor Relations Real Assets team within UBS Asset Management’s Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) unit. With more than USD 300 billion under management across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Private Credit, UGA is a leading global alternatives investor.

The Investor Relations Real Assets team is a dynamic, committed, and ambitious group focusing on Infrastructure and Real Estate. Our team works closely with Investment Specialists to secure commitments from new investors and manage relationships with existing ones. We strive to be a trusted partner to our investors, client advisors, distribution colleagues, investment teams, and the entire Unified Global Alternatives value chain. You will play a key role in bridging product structuring and investment content between Japan teams and relevant global teams, ensuring alignment with local market standards and sensitivities.

Your Expertise

• Significant experience (12-15 years) in an institutional investment, private markets specialist, product specialist, or alternative sales role.
• A deep understanding of the Japanese investor landscape and regulatory environment, capable of serving as a gatekeeper for Japanese SMAs by delivering precise and consistent reporting and performance updates.
• Experience in the investor landscape in Japan and the Japanese alternatives market, with a proven track record of providing services to Japanese clients.
• Ability to understand and communicate the unique expectations and requirements of Japanese institutional investors to global teams.
• Advanced technical, product, and market knowledge in real estate and infrastructure investments, as well as multi-alternative products.
