Your Role

Are you at your best when serving clients and providing specialist real assets and private markets knowledge? Do you have a proven ability to work with clients to deliver alternative investment solutions? We are looking for someone who can:

• Provide specialist knowledge of UGA's Real Assets products to clients worldwide, particularly Japanese investors.
• Deliver high-quality investment solutions to institutional and private investors globally, with a strong focus on the Japanese market across all UGA investment verticals.
• Contribute to fundraising efforts by completing RFPs and creating compelling marketing materials, including pitch decks and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
• Collaborate closely with the Investment teams to conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor activity, enhancing investor communication and positioning the firm as a market leader.
• Work alongside the Asset Management Client Coverage teams and Global Wealth Management client advisors to support sales and client service initiatives.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional client service that upholds our quality standards and facilitates potential top-up opportunities.

Your Team

You will be part of a large-scale global asset manager that offers investment capabilities and styles across all major traditional and alternative asset classes, from active to passive, including a comprehensive sustainable investing offering. As a member of the Investor Relations Real Assets team within UBS Asset Management’s Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) unit, you will contribute to managing more than USD 300 billion in assets (across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Private Credit). UGA is a leading global alternatives investor, channeling UBS Wealth and Institutional capital into both UBS and third-party best-in-class alternative investment vehicles.

The Investor Relations Real Assets team is dynamic, committed, and ambitious, focusing on Infrastructure and Real Estate. We are key partners to the Investment Specialists in securing commitments from new investors and managing relationships with existing investors. Our goal is to be a trusted partner for our investors, client advisors, distribution colleagues, investment teams, and the entire value chain of Unified Global Alternatives. You'll play a crucial role in bridging product structuring and investment content between Japan teams and relevant global teams, ensuring alignment with local market standards and sensitivities.

Your Expertise

• Significant experience (12-15 years) in an institutional investment, private markets specialist, product specialist, or alternative sales role.
• Deep understanding of the Japanese investor landscape and regulatory environment, serving as a gatekeeper for Japanese SMAs by delivering regular reporting and performance updates with precision and consistency.
• Hands-on experience with the investor landscape in Japan, the Japanese alternatives market, and providing services to Japanese clients.
• Ability to interpret and communicate the unique expectations and requirements of Japanese institutional investors to global teams effectively.
• Advanced technical, product, and market knowledge in real estate and infrastructure investments, as well as multi-alternative products.
