Job Opportunity: International Project Manager - Africa

We are seeking an International Project Manager for Africa to enhance and broaden the portfolio of Suyana. In this role, you will review and support partner-led projects, directly implement initiatives with Suyana teams, and ensure quality across all phases of Project Cycle Management (PCM). The position combines a hands-on field presence with strategic development: analyzing country contexts, fostering partnerships, and strengthening Suyana's positioning in Africa.

The ideal candidate will embody Suyana's core values of concern, adaptation, and sustainability. You should be passionate about holistic community development and international cooperation. We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented professional with proven experience in African contexts, able to work both independently and collaboratively. The candidate must be prepared to spend considerable time in the field, developing new initiatives, enhancing existing projects, and building networks to support Suyana's growth in the region.

You will report to the Head of Projects & Partnerships Africa and work closely with Suyana's Zug-based Africa team.
