Join Biovision: Dedicated to Sustainable Food Systems

Biovision is committed to creating sustainable food systems—from farm to fork. We advocate for agroecological approaches, socially equitable value chains, food security, and agricultural practices in harmony with nature. By fostering focused research and projects in sub-Saharan Africa and Switzerland, we develop solutions for the future through self-initiated initiatives and collaborations with partner organizations.

Founded in 1998 by Swiss entomologist and Right Livelihood Award laureate Hans Rudolf Herren, Biovision is dedicated to improving the lives of farming families while safeguarding the environment. Our focus on agroecology—a holistic approach encompassing sustainable farming methods, socially responsible business practices, and inclusive policy dialogue—allows us to tackle global challenges such as hunger, climate change, and biodiversity loss.
