Your Role and Responsibilities

In this position, you will serve as the vital link between ABB’s Information Systems and our internal customers. By leveraging storytelling and cross-media communication, you will guide end users on their journey towards the digital workplace. You will be responsible for planning and executing internal communication activities within ABB Switzerland while participating in global initiatives managed by Group Communications and Group Information Systems.

The work model for this role is hybrid, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.

This role contributes to the Motion Business Information Systems Function based in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For:

• Proposing and executing internal communication plans, ensuring alignment with management, stakeholders, and budget constraints.
• Developing creative concepts for communication materials that adhere to corporate branding guidelines, while managing internal and external resources.
• Organizing internal events, exhibitions, and roadshows to enhance user awareness and support business activities.
• Managing internal communications, promoting cross-team collaboration, and aiding in change management and training for the adoption of the digital workplace.

Qualifications for the Role

• Strong educational background in Internal Communications and Change Management (minimum Fachhochschule level).
• Experience in Internal Communications.
• Proficiency in MS Office Tools, including PowerPoint and Publishing Tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English (C1) and German (C1).
