Internal Audit Supply is a part of the Risk Management & Compliance department within Supply.

Job Description

We are seeking a new colleague to join us as an Internal Audit Leader.

In this role, you will actively drive positive change by providing insights, advice, and high-quality business assurance activities. As a true ambassador of IKEA values, you will:

  • Lead and perform a range of audits (operational, financial, and compliance) across different functions, businesses, and organizations.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trustful partnerships with stakeholders to support and advise on risks and controls.
  • Timely deliver impactful audit reports with valuable insights and recommendations (excellent writing skills required).
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of internal processes, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the Risk & Compliance community.
  • Consistently find new ways to develop yourself, others, and the business.
  • Lead or support other initiatives related to risk management and compliance.

Qualifications

You are a curious and solution-oriented individual with the ability to engage and build trusting relationships with various stakeholders. You can assess risks while keeping the bigger picture in mind and pay attention to detail when necessary. As a team player, you are a fast learner with strong analytical capabilities and the skill to manage multiple assignments concurrently.

What else do we look for?

  • At least 6+ years of experience in internal audit; knowledge of supply chain is a plus.
  • Ideally, have experience with both operational and IT audits.
  • Qualified (or aspiring to be) CIA, CISA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of providing pragmatic recommendations with integrity.
  • Good networking, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data analytics tools is a plus.
  • A passion for creating impact and inspiration, regardless of function or reporting lines.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on both business and people, seeing challenges as opportunities.
  • Strong organizational skills with a good level of resilience and composure.
