Tasks

Our Touristic Sales team is responsible for managing, monitoring, and developing key B2B travel agent accounts within the tourism market in Switzerland, as well as with all airlines of the Lufthansa Group and our joint-venture partners. In your internship, you will experience a diverse range of duties related to key account management.

• Support our key account managers in account management and development tasks.
• Handle inquiries from commercial customers.
• Manage ad-hoc assignments, such as presentations and analyses for communication and decision-making purposes.
• Coordinate sales activities and events in collaboration with B2B Marketing.
• Represent SWISS and the Lufthansa Group at B2B and B2C events.
• Research market trends and best practices, developing your own summaries and conclusions.
• Take on project responsibility for specific topic areas.
• Plan, participate, and document various meetings with internal and external stakeholders within a joint venture context.

Requirements

• HF diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s students or graduates (HF diploma & Bachelor’s students must have completed at least three semesters) in business administration or related fields.
• A well-structured approach to work with strong conceptual and analytical skills.
• A flair for communication with confidence in customer interactions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Teams, PowerPoint & usage of AI tools).
• Fluent in spoken and written German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Quick grasp of essentials, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Industry knowledge is a further advantage.
