Intern: Credit Controller

Description

We are looking for an Intern in Credit Control (m/f/d) to join Allianz Risk Transfer (ART) in Wallisellen/Zurich (Switzerland).

The Impact You Will Have

As a highly motivated and dedicated intern, you will support the credit control activities related to the insurance business of ART, focusing on Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Bermuda. You will have dedicated responsibilities within the team and additionally support the Senior Credit Controllers in their daily operations.

Some of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include:

• Supporting Senior Credit Controllers with the accounts receivable/payable settlement and collection as per agreed terms of settlement.
• Assisting with the performance of the credit control function of Accounts Receivable/Payable and related account reconciliations.
• Initiating payments via our Treasury Management System for Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Bermuda.
• Performing Finance Operation ART's reporting requirements.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
• Analytical skills and the ability to handle complex processes (closing, reporting, finance operations) including understanding of data flows.
• Proficiency in IT and office applications for effective data analysis.
• Proactive attitude and self-motivation with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
• Fluent English language skills; German skills are a plus.
• Availability to start immediately and interested in a full-time internship for 6 months.
• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.

Further Information

• Working hours: 41 hours/week.
• Duration: at least 6 months (preferably longer).
