Our Audit & Assurance Team is engaged in finance transformation projects and handles both internal and external audit engagements. We work collaboratively across all service lines at Deloitte to support our global and diverse clientele in achieving their corporate objectives, managing risks, and enhancing their business performance.

What You Can Expect From Us

• Advise clients on implementing internal control frameworks, finance transformation, and navigating new International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS & US GAAP), especially within the Insurance Industry.
• Assist clients in integrating regulatory requirements into their daily operations and prepare their systems through comprehensive testing.
• Conduct internal audits and FINMA regulatory assignments specifically for Insurance and Reinsurance companies.
• Prepare gap analyses, data analyses, benchmarking, proposals, presentations, and specific publications covering relevant industry topics.

Your Qualifications

• A qualified candidate or certified auditor (e.g. Swiss CPA or ACCA) with a minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience with IFRS and US GAAP in the financial services sector, particularly in insurance contracts and financial instruments.
• At least 4 years of experience in external auditing within the insurance field, preferably with one of the Big 4 firms.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17 for insurance contracts and IFRS 9 for financial instruments, with a strong focus on these standards in your daily work.
• A team player capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues from different sectors and establishing robust client relationships.
• Fluent communication skills in English and German. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
