Join Our Team: Institutional Fixed Income Sales Professional
BGC is seeking a dynamic and driven Institutional Fixed Income Sales professional to help us expand our Swiss credit franchise. The ideal candidate will possess strong local relationships alongside a commercial mindset, working closely with our global sales and trading teams to link Swiss investors with distinctive liquidity and execution opportunities. The primary focus will be on institutional clients throughout Switzerland, particularly on pension funds, asset managers, and private banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with institutional fixed income investors across Switzerland.
- Expand the firm’s coverage of Swiss pension funds, asset managers, private banks, and other professional investors.
- Originate and execute trading opportunities in USD-denominated corporate and financial credit.
- Provide clients with timely market insights, trade ideas, relative-value opportunities, and execution solutions.
- Utilize BGC/Aurel’s electronic credit trading capabilities and BGC Group’s global network to offer clients access to differentiated liquidity.
- Collaborate with electronic and voice trading teams across Europe, Asia, and the United States to identify and deliver cross-regional opportunities.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute directly to the expansion of the firm’s Swiss institutional franchise.
- Support the onboarding and activation of new clients by working collaboratively with internal trading, credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams.
- Professionally represent the firm and cultivate long-term, trusted relationships with clients.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in institutional fixed income sales.
- Strong existing relationships with Swiss institutional investors, particularly pension funds, asset managers, and private banks.
- Good understanding of corporate and financial credit markets, with specific experience in USD-denominated debt.
- Proven ability to generate commercial opportunities and nurture long-term client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, motivated to contribute to business growth.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, ownership, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who collaborates effectively across sales, trading, technology, and support functions.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is highly desirable, while French or Italian would be advantageous.
