You will spearhead innovation by deploying advanced data approaches in collaboration with a diverse community of over 300 data scientists around the globe. The program offers a unique platform to work with large-scale biomedical data typically inaccessible in academia. Embrace this opportunity to be at the forefront of Data Science and AI, influencing the future landscape of drug discovery!
This project focuses on human genetics-driven target discovery for immunological diseases. The successful candidate will establish a pipeline of statistical and machine learning models to identify causal variants, map them to potential target genes, and describe possible underlying mechanisms. This pipeline will be applied to explore immune system-driven diseases, ideating novel drug targets and experimentally testing them.
Through the Novartis Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, you will enhance your capabilities as a drug hunter and a scientific leader. You will connect with a professional network supporting your growth as a research scientist while addressing diseases and making a meaningful impact in the field of medicine.
