Tasks

The Innovation team brings together like-minded experts, facilitates ideation formats and innovation communities, tests ideas early in our labs, and provides straightforward financing for prototype development. Join our dynamic team across Vienna, Zurich, and Frankfurt!

We are looking for an innovation intern who will support us with the following tasks:

• Support planning and organization of our virtual and on-site formats, such as training sessions, workshops, events, and pitch sessions
• Assist in piloting and testing innovative ideas and cutting-edge technologies across the group
• Contribute to building and maintaining internal innovation community networks across the Lufthansa Group
• Support project management activities (tracking progress, coordinating stakeholders, preparing briefings)
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and alignment across various business units
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of innovation formats and processes
• Help track KPIs and assess the impact of innovation initiatives

Requirements

We value creativity and initiative and are looking for new team members who can bring fresh ideas to our team. You should appreciate cross-departmental collaboration and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an HF Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in any area
• Enthusiasm for innovation, aviation, and technology
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence in working with diverse, international teams and stakeholders
• Experience coordinating and organizing events is preferred but not required
