In the role of Innovation Engineer in Electrical Engineering (100%), you will be instrumental in assembling, producing, and ensuring the quality of innovative products used in the generation of ultra-pure water.

This position is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with excellent public transport access (Tram 10) and free on-site parking.

What is the Role?

• Development work in the field of water treatment process automation and instrumentation
• Planning and building test benches for performance testing of prototypes, system components, and quality control
• Implement strategies to enhance software and electronic hardware
• Responsible for signal acquisition and signal processing strategies
• Commissioning of instrumentation at customer sites and evaluation of field data
• Analyze and communicate results through written reports, technical papers, and oral presentations

Does This Sound Like You?

• Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Preferred: 3-5 years of professional experience in an industrial environment, especially in instrumentation and signal processing
• Experience with electronics simulation software
• Familiarity with test instruments and automation
• Self-driven, innovative, and hands-on mentality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
• Working languages: English; proficiency in German and French is a plus
• Must be a Swiss or EU citizen or hold a C Swiss resident permit
