Your Impact
In this role, you will:
- Conduct high-quality industrial research in software for sustainable power grids, focusing on software architecture and distributed systems.
- Design innovative approaches to automate the power grid and transform them into functional prototypes.
- Collaborate with global, interdisciplinary teams across Research and Business Units to drive impactful solutions.
- Tackle real-world challenges with practical, forward-thinking ideas that push the boundaries of current technology.
- Foster strong internal networks and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Engage with external partners such as universities, start-ups, and technology providers to expand innovation.
- Present research outcomes through scientific publications, patent filings, and technical documentation.
- Help shape the future direction of our research strategy and methodologies.
Your Background
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A PhD in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- A proven track record in applying software engineering principles to complex systems, such as embedded systems, real-time systems, and/or Internet of Things (edge computing, cloud computing).
- Knowledge of distributed systems, performance engineering, AI/ML for software engineering, and/or power grid automation applications is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, a team player attitude, initiative, and creativity.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
