Sous-Chef – Indo-Chinese Cuisine
Job Highlights
- Strong experience in Chinese cuisine, especially Indo-Chinese, including all varieties of noodles and rice.
- Profound knowledge of different kinds of beverages.
- Deep understanding of all aspects of Chinese dishes.
- Proficient with BBQ and Chinese specialty equipment, such as the wok.
- Ability to develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to uphold restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified candidates should preferably hold a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years in our restaurants located in Switzerland is expected.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese specialty cuisine, particularly Indo-Chinese techniques.
- Additional proficiency in German would be an asset.
