Your Role

As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will join the Indirect Procurement team at our headquarters at Zurich Airport. Your sourcing activities will focus on Capital Expenditure (e.g., tooling, equipment), administrative services, or investment projects in our production environment. You will actively contribute to locating, evaluating, contracting, and maintaining the best sources of supply for services required by internal business partners while considering all aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost, and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. Additionally, you will lead the supplier selection and development process, delivering ongoing and sustainable improvements in procurement costs to support SR Technics' growth objectives. This position also offers opportunities to develop into other Indirect Procurement categories.

Your Tasks

• Responsible for the call to tender process and supplier management on assigned procurement projects.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to continuously reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality, standards, and delivery performance of the services and products purchased.
• Coordinate changes and updates between suppliers and all relevant internal project stakeholders.
• Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and any changes in supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliance, policies, rules, and regulations.
• Apply negotiation skills to resolve contractual supplier and vendor disputes with acceptable outcomes for all parties.
• Work collaboratively with the Procurement team to develop and implement sustainable working principles in sourcing.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a comparable qualification required.
• 3+ years of experience in Procurement and/or project management in a technical environment.
• Procurement education and contracting experience preferred.
• Excellent project management skills, results, and deadline-oriented.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Language skills: Fluent in German; English proficiency at C1 level.
