Position: Indirect Procurement Manager

As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will join the Indirect Procurement team in the cluster of Corporate Services. Your sourcing activities will focus on, but not be limited to, professional services, consulting, HR services, and marketing & communications. You will actively contribute to the formulation, execution, and evolution of procurement strategies related to locating, evaluating, contracting, and maintaining the best sources of supply for services required by internal business partners while considering all aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost, and the ability to respond quickly to changing supply requirements. You will lead the supplier selection and development process, driving ongoing and sustainable improvements in procurement costs in support of SR Technics' growth objectives.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to continuously reduce total cost of ownership and improve quality, standards, and delivery performance of purchased services and products.
  • Recommend the most appropriate and efficient method for the formation of sourcing initiatives/agreements for SR Technics Switzerland through analysis of spend, end-user activity, and the marketplace.
  • Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and manage changes in supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliance, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Determine when recurring purchases are suitable for strategic sourcing agreements/initiatives.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to resolve contractual disputes with suppliers and vendors, ensuring acceptable outcomes through compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to develop and implement sustainable sourcing principles.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration or economics required.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably managing professional services or related categories.
  • Procurement education required; sourcing and contracting experience desired.
  • Good understanding of sustainable procurement practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a results and deadline-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Language skills: German Level B2, English C1.
