Your Role

As an Indirect Procurement Manager, you will join the Indirect Procurement team within the Corporate Services cluster. Your sourcing activities will focus on, but are not limited to, Professional Services, Consulting, HR services, and Marketing & Communications. You will actively contribute to formulating, executing, and evolving procurement strategies aimed at identifying, evaluating, contracting, and maintaining the best sources of supply for services required by internal business partners. This will involve carefully considering all aspects such as quality, value, performance, cost, and the capability to respond swiftly to changing supply requirements.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and execute a procurement strategy to continuously reduce the total cost of ownership and enhance quality, standards, and delivery performance for the services and products purchased.
  • Recommend the most appropriate and efficient methods for forming sourcing initiatives/agreements for SR Technics Switzerland, from spend analysis to end-user activity and marketplace evaluation.
  • Negotiate strategic sourcing agreements and manage any changes in supplier and vendor contracts in accordance with compliance, policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Assess whether recurring purchases are suitable for strategic sourcing agreements/initiatives.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to resolve contractual disputes with suppliers and vendors, achieving acceptable outcomes while adhering to compliance and policy guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to develop and implement sustainable sourcing principles.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Economics required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Procurement, preferably managing professional services or related categories.
  • Procurement education required, with sourcing and contracting experience desired.
  • Good understanding of sustainable procurement practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with a results and deadline-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Language skills: German Level B2, English C1.
