We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assisting with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Ensuring that kitchen activities operate in a timely manner.
- Providing support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks, including line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
- Recruiting and training new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
- Creating schedules for kitchen employees and evaluating their performance.
- Adhering to and implementing sanitation and safety regulations.
- Managing the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
- Sound knowledge of South Indian specialty cuisine (preferably vegetarian).
