About the Role

As a pivotal member of Takeda's access community, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients have access to innovative therapies through effective reimbursement strategies and robust value propositions. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of patients by facilitating timely and sustainable access to our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Global Access Strategy team to ensure successful execution within the Innovative Business Unit (IBU).
- Lead and enhance the IBU access strategy for Oveporexton across six core markets, integrating insights from disease areas, payer expectations, competitive analysis, and evidence requirements.
- Engage actively with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and HEOR, to incorporate access considerations into strategic decisions.
- Contribute to the Global Pricing and Access (GPA) function by influencing governance and operational excellence.
Your Contribution
IBU - Oveporexton Access Business Partner
- Plan and implement initiatives across IBU markets to ensure that the global access and pricing strategies for Oveporexton thrive in competitive environments.
- Act as the primary contact for IBU Local Access teams, steering access and pricing strategies for timely patient access.
- Partner with local organizations to define ambitions, guide scenario planning, and create comprehensive access plans for priority markets.
- Support local teams in developing value propositions, negotiating effectively, and preparing for complex payer interactions.
- Manage reporting and transparency for access strategy execution, pricing actions, and reimbursement readiness for senior leadership.
- Continuously refine the IBU access strategy by integrating insights from international congresses and payer forums.
- Encourage a growth mindset across P&R/HTA requirements by engaging with the broader healthcare ecosystem, including patient voices.
- Oversee budget management for assigned assets.
Global Pricing and Access Collaboration
- Work alongside Global Pricing & Access Strategy teams to optimize pricing and access efforts.
- Anticipate market changes and competitive pressures while working with lifecycle offices.
- Contribute to cross-functional teams to enhance the value proposition through tailored deliverables.
- Collaborate with evidence generation teams to ensure clinical data aligns with payer value narratives.
Future Readiness and Capability Development
- Monitor market access trends and adjust strategies in response to reimbursement policy changes.
- Lead a multi-layer TA Access function across IBU to ensure consistent execution and share successful practices.
- Develop processes and tools to train local teams on best practices for access execution.
- Promote digital capability adoption throughout the access community.
- Organize mock negotiations and training exercises for local markets.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience in Market Access & Pricing, particularly in Local and Regional environments.
- Proven capability to develop access strategies across the asset lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of global payer systems and reimbursement processes.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills across multiple workstreams.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders in multicultural environments.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges within the assigned therapeutic area.
- Experience with digital platforms, data analytics, and AI-driven tools is a plus.
