Main Tasks

As part of your role, you will be responsible for ensuring the adaptation and deployment of Sodexo’s HSE Strategy at all sites where we operate. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing national legislation and comparing it with Group requirements, developing health, safety, and environmental procedures for the local Sodexo management system covering all services provided on-site.
  • Maintaining the local Sodexo HSE Management System.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Developing and delivering HSE training programs.
  • Managing incident reports and administering the SALUS system, which includes the systematic registration of all on-site accidents, near misses, and observations.
  • Preparing detailed reports regarding occupational health, safety, and environmental aspects.
  • Conducting HSE audits on-site, in the fields of occupational health, safety, and the environment, while also preparing for and accompanying external audits.
  • Supporting operational teams to foster behavior change and achieve exemplary results in occupational health and safety.
  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality services within the country that adhere to budgetary and key performance indicators.

Competencies / Personal Specification

We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • University graduate in Facilities Management, Health & Safety, Chemistry, or Environmental Protection.
  • Certification as an Occupational Safety Specialist.
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience in occupational safety.
  • Proactive, analytical, and capable of collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 1-2 days per week.
  • Proficiency in German and English (intermediate – B1 or equivalent); knowledge of French would be an advantage.
  • Experience in project and process management for workplace safety.
