Houseparent (Girls Boarding House) & English Teacher (Department of International Studies)

Due to our expansion and the introduction of a new girls' boarding house in the upcoming academic year, we are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive on the challenge of working with bright and inquisitive international students aged 12 to 19 (grades 7 to 12).
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a visible role model for the values of Lyceum Alpinum in all aspects of the boarding house operations.
- Provide pastoral guidance and support to boarders during duty times.
- Teach English in the International section.
- Create a safe, well-ordered, warm, and friendly environment.
- Support boarders in their academic and co-curricular activities.
- Ensure behavior is in line with school and house rules.
- Communicate effectively with parents and all stakeholders at the school.
- Participate in our vibrant extracurricular life.
- Uphold safeguarding practices at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience working with young people in an international boarding school.
- Relevant university degree in English.
- Experience teaching IBDP and IGCSE.
- Willingness to assist with enrichment activities and boarding life, including evenings and weekends.
- Swiss/EU/EFTA citizenship is an advantage.
