As an ambassador at citizenM, you embody enthusiasm, optimism, and respect for everyone. Collaborating with fellow ambassadors, you ensure that guests receive the exceptional citizenM experience from check-in to the canteen, and everywhere in between.

At citizenM, we don’t box you into a ‘receptionist’ or ‘food and beverage’ role. Here, you’ll become a versatile multitasker—serving as a customer service representative, receptionist, concierge, barista, mixologist, and problem solver. As a citizenM night ambassador, you are encouraged to be yourself and to do your best work. We believe that when you enjoy your experience, our guests will too.

citizenM is thrilled to announce the opening of our first Italian hotel in the eternal city. Our property in Isola Tiberina will welcome its first guests in November 2023, and we are looking for enthusiastic night owls to join our opening team.

Your Typical CitizenM Shift Could Include:

• Offering a warm welcome to every guest as they walk in.
• Assisting guests at our self-check-in kiosks (we don’t have a reception desk).
• Preparing and serving delicious hot and cold breakfast and meals.
• Brewing exquisite coffee or crafting signature cocktails.
• Acting as a knowledgeable concierge, providing recommendations on the best places to visit, eat, shop, or party.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the living room and canteenM, and arranging food displays for the next shift.
• Addressing guest requests and questions about our facilities.
• Handling reservations in our property management system (PMS), including the nightly audit.
• Taking responsibility for operations during night shifts.
• Providing care for our guests, including assistance during emergencies.

Typical Shifts

Our hotel operates 24/7, and your shifts may vary. Typical night ambassador shifts run from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM. We value flexibility and take your preferences into account to help you maintain your work-life balance. This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
