In this role, you will take the lead in shaping a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with both legal requirements and global EHS standards at our Rapperswil site. With your excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on mindset, you will drive sustainable environmental, health, and safety initiatives across the organization and serve as a trusted partner to both management and employees.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop a positive safety culture and conduct safety risk assessments for all workstations.
Create and execute an EHS plan/roadmap for the workplace in accordance with legal guidelines and Weidmann global standards.
Develop and implement an environmental management plan in collaboration with the Weidmann sustainability manager.
Create training on EHS matters and disseminate it to the local management team and all employees.
Perform and coordinate ISO 45001 audits and internal safety audits.
Be responsible for EHS reporting and support the management team in implementing sustainable improvement actions.
Ensure thorough investigation of all hazards, near misses, and accidents, with preventive actions implemented sustainably.
Participate actively in the EHS global working group.
What You Bring
Relevant Swiss safety certificate (“SUVA-Spezialistin/Spezialist ASGS” or “Expertin/Experte ASGS”).
Proven experience as a safety manager with a deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines.
Valid qualifications in occupational health and safety as well as Project Management.
Ability to produce reports and develop pertinent policies on a global scale.
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Fluent in English and German, both written and oral; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
