Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the tools that comprise the Quality Tool Chain. As the team leader, you will ensure that end-user requests are addressed with timely and high-quality solutions. You will develop the roadmap for the Quality Tool Chain and ensure its successful implementation by your team, with the assistance of external suppliers.
Your Tasks
- Own and manage a suite of critical tools and applications, including Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Polarion, OpenText, and others.
- Lead a team of five engineers while supervising collaboration with external integrators and suppliers.
- Provide high-quality support to end users and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Define and evolve the strategic roadmap for the toolchain to align with business needs.
- Enhance the tool chain by implementing robust digital interfaces and enforcing best practices and standards.
- Monitor expenses in relation to the approved budget.
What We Are Looking For
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within software or toolchain management.
- Proven experience with Jira Cloud or Polarion.
- Hands-on experience in interacting with end users and configuring software.
- Strong decision-making skills: making timely decisions and adjusting them when necessary while minimizing the influence of bias or emotions.
- Relationship-building abilities: expressing gratitude and appreciation, respecting personal boundaries, and genuinely investing time in others.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; a good command of French and/or German is a plus.
