Welcome to one of the largest full-service garden restaurants in Zurich – located in the heart of District 1, between Sihl and Schanzengraben. With 150 seats indoors and 400 outdoors, our venue is a city classic, open six days a week, offering nearly continuous kitchen service. We cater to a variety of events, from à-la-carte dining for 400 guests to flying dinners for 300 people and day raves accommodating up to 2,000 attendees. Everything is possible at Riithalle.
Your Tasks
- Lead a service team of up to 15 people in close collaboration with the restaurant management
- Serve as a vital link between the service team and restaurant management
- Ensure smooth service flow throughout the restaurant
- Professionally address and resolve guest complaints
- Welcome, seat, and bid farewell to our guests
- Provide active service, including advising guests, taking orders, and processing billing
What We Expect from You
- Completed training as a certified hospitality specialist (EFZ)
- A personable host with leadership experience
- Excellent skills in German/Swiss German and English
- Strong organizational abilities with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
- Team leader with a role model attitude and hands-on mentality
